In my Technology Literacy Class students learned how to create Google Earth tours. Students choose from the following topics: Seven Wonders of the World, Civil War Events, Events of Lincoln's Assassination, Events of JFK's Assassination, World War II Events, World War I Events, or student choice with teacher approval. http://www.vocabahead.com is a great site to help visual learners in developing vocabulary. The list are broken into grade levels from 6-12 to assist in preparing students for the SAT and ACT. It is better than quizlet because it has visuals. Click on study room and choose your list. You will find this in the App store as well.
